Hull City Ladies FC V Stourbridge

Another cold day - I shall look forward to being able to get my quilted coat off at some stage. A good turn out at the EasyBuy stadium to see the ladies on the second of four consecutive home games. After their 3-3 draw against Wolves Women last week there was much anticipation and the mood was positive, even more so after Rachael Ackroyd put us into a 1-0 lead following a cracker of a pass through from Kirstie Hunt. Stourbridge managed to equalise just before the break which dampened the mood a little. However, after the break the Ladies came out positively and we had great positive play which enabled Helen Lynskey to fire a shot home leaving us with a 2-1 win.

Player of the Match Izzy Gigg received her award from Carol Thomas BEM. Onwards to another home game against Sporting Khalsa.
